The village of Kanala is known throughout Greece as a pilgrams hotspot. Many pilgrams visit the holy church of Kanala, and it is also popular for weddings. The church is surrounded by pine trees. Enchanted by the smells of the pine trees and the pituresque scenery take a seat at a café next to the church and enjoy the fantastic view or take a refreshing bath in the sea.
Kanala has 3 beaches, one of them famous for the fine sand. There are many cafes with fantastic views and one of the best fish tavern on the island. If you dont mind a small walk, you can visit the local vineyards in the surrounding hills. Kanala is definitely worth a visit.
